Expected Payments
For reconciliation purposes, expected payments in APIO are obtained directly from invoices registered in the Chilean Internal Revenue Service (SII).
This allows APIO to reconcile real bank movements against officially issued fiscal documents.
How Expected Payments Are Generatedβ
- APIO retrieves invoices that are registered in the SII
- Each invoice represents an expected payment
- These expected payments are used as the baseline for reconciliation against bank transactions
This ensures that reconciliation is aligned with Chilean tax and accounting regulations.
Configuration Requirementsβ
The integration with SII for expected payments must be configured together with the APIO team.
This configuration includes:
- Invoice source validation
- SII credentials and access setup
- Mapping of invoice data to APIOβs reconciliation engine
Due to regulatory and security requirements, this setup cannot be self-configured.
Reconciliation Flow Overviewβ
- Invoices are issued and registered in the SII
- APIO retrieves those invoices as expected payments
- Bank movements are imported or synced
- APIO matches bank movements with expected payments
- Matched payments are marked as reconciled
Key Benefitsβ
- Fiscal accuracy aligned with Chilean regulations
- Reduced manual reconciliation work
- Clear traceability between invoices and bank movements
Using SII-issued invoices as expected payments provides a reliable and compliant foundation for reconciliation in APIO.
